If you live in Northern Colorado, odds are you've heard of Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. The first time I walked into what appeared to be a glorified metal barn, I literally stood in the foyer with my mouth hanging open. It is absolutely everything you want musical theater to be. From the decor to the sweeping staircases, to the elegant layout and design of the dining area, and of course, the sheer magnitude of the stage is enough to take your breath away. I knew in that moment, I wanted to somehow be a part of this.

I can't recall exactly the circumstances, but I found myself tossed into a 'design-off' for their production of 'Mame.' Three days later, I was told I'd won the competition, and was offered the contract. Thrilling, to say the least!

 

I was lucky enough to work with CDP for 3 seasons, imaging and developing their bold, colorful 'Broadway in Your Backyard' brand. A wonderful time, with some truly delightful characters.
